Fritz Möbus

Fritz Möbus was fast. And he had stamina. And above all he was a sportsman through and through. To further improve his performance he not only worked hard on himself but also on his equipment. It was therefore a logical step to develop a sports shoe which helped Fritz Möbus in his urge to excel at athletics. The idea was sketched out with just a few lines, the first Möbus shoe was born.

In 1924 Fritz Möbus designed and made his first shoe and promptly won the South German Championship in the 200 metres sprint for the Stuttgarter Kickers club. Henceforth, Möbus shoes would stand for sporting success. Success which soon had everybody talking. The production and product range of Möbus footwear quickly expanded. Climbing boots, skittling shoes, skates and football boots were developed, cut and sewn in Crailsheim.
